Pascale Champagne

Prof. Pascale Champagne completed her PhD in Environmental Engineering 2001 from Carleton University. She is a Professor in Civil Engineering with a cross-appointment to Chemical Engineering at Queen’s University. She holds a Canada Research Chair in Bioresource Engineering. She has been recepient of a number of research awards including the Queen’s Prize in Resaerch Excellence (2017), Queen’s Undergraduate Research Mentorship Award (2017), Way Memorial Trust Award (2012), Early Researcher Award (2007), Russell Ackoff Award (2005) and Petro-Canada Young Innovator Award (2002). She is a Fellow of the Environment and Water Resources Institute (EWRI) of the American Society of Civil Engineers (2017), an American Academic of Water Resources Engineers (AAWRE) Diplomate (2008) and was inducted into the College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists in the inaugural cohort of the Royal Society of Canada in 2014. She has published more than 110 journal papers in her field, 11 book chapters and her work has been presented in more than 255 conference and invited seminar talks.
